Who we are

Humble Beginnings

In 2012, a local team decided to fold their second side from the Coventry Sunday Football League. Rather than see players left without a club, our current Chairman and Co-Chairman stepped up — taking over the squad and forming what would become AFC Coventry Lions. What started as al handful of mates with a passion for football quickly grew into something bigger. Built on commitment, respect, and togetherness, AFC Coventry has gone from Sunday League roots to a structured club with senior and youth teams — giving players of all ages a place to belong, improve, and compete.
